This review was commissioned to inform the development of the National Obesity Strategy. It identified population-level interventions, programs and policy approaches that are effective in improving healthy eating and physical activity. The review found 31 interventions related to food systems, physical activity, public policy, regulation and legislation. Those targeting community action, personal skill development and social marking were also identified.
