About the Secure Unified Research Environment (SURE)
SURE is operated by the Sax Institute and is supported by the Population Health Research Network which is an initiative of the Australian Government National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).
SURE is a secure, remote-access research platform that enables approved researchers to analyse linked health data from sources including hospitals, Medicare and cancer registries, without data ever leaving the environment. Researchers can apply to access SURE, with the Sax Institute providing support to navigate approvals and ensure data is used safely and effectively.
