Knowledge Mobilisation Symposia

The Knowledge Mobilisation Symposia, being organised by the Sax Institute with the NSW Ministry of Health, will identify practical challenges in knowledge mobilisation and approaches to resolving them.

The first Symposium focused on the evaluation of policies, programs and the second on evidence-support systems.

Past events

The second symposium in our series on knowledge mobilisation, being organised by the Sax Institute with the NSW Ministry of Health, was held on 22 June 2022. Professor John Lavis, Conjoint Associate Professor Sarah Thackway and Professor Jonathan Craig addressed evidence-support systems from global, state and clinical perspectives.

The first in a series of Knowledge Mobilisation Symposia, being organised by the Sax Institute with the NSW Ministry of Health, was held on 22 March 2022. The Symposium focus was evaluation of policies, programs and services. A keynote address was delivered by Professor Nicholas Mays, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and three local case studies were presented by: Liz Hay, NSW Ministry of Health; Anne Redman, Sax Institute; and Professor Luke Wolfenden, University of Newcastle.
