• Highlights of 2020–21:

    • Divisions across the Institute responded to the continuing challenges posed by COVID‑19 – from Evidence Snapshots that targeted specific pandemic-related issues, to the 45 and Up Study’s series of fast-turnaround surveys for the NSW Ministry of Health that explored the impact of COVID-19 on health and wellbeing.
    • The Institute also developed innovative approaches to mobilising evidence, including the Pathways to Change project, a new planning tool for community wellbeing and mental health supports, and strong media engagement throughout the year.
    • Aboriginal health was in the spotlight, with a $1.5 million grant from the Medical Research Future Fund to support new evaluations of Aboriginal-led primary healthcare.
    • The Australian Prevention Partnership Centre had a busy year, launching the Food Environment Dashboard and the Collaboration for Enhanced Research Impact (CERI).
