This review summarises recent evidence on the strategies that have been effective in helping educators in schools and early learning services support mental wellbeing in response to critical incidents. Critical incidents happen in every learning environment, but how educators prepare for and respond to such incidents is key to managing the impact they can have on children, young people and the wider learning community.
