This review identifies evidence on the relationship between social and emotional learning skills and mental health and wellbeing in children and young people. It also identifies strategies have been effective for educators to support children and young people to build social and emotional learning skills. Social and emotional learning skills are essential for building resilience and maintaining positive mental health and wellbeing.
