This review summarises what is known about how and why partnerships between families and educators help to support mental health and wellbeing. It also identifies what strategies build and maintain these partnerships.

Families can include parents, carers, grandparents and kin who care for a child. Building meaningful partnerships with families is essential for supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people.
