This Evidence Check review examined the evidence on  key health issues affecting NSW women across the life course and the social determinants that impact on their risk of developing these health issues. Three social determinants affected women’s health across all stages: socioeconomic status; isolation; and interpersonal violence and victimisation. This underlined the need for early intervention at younger life stages. Indigenous women and some migrant populations were found to have higher risks for some health issues.
