The 45 and Up Study became the largest cohort study in the Southern Hemisphere, enrolling 125,000 participants by the end of the year.

Strong Foundations, Strong Futures, an Aboriginal health research conference in NSW, demonstrated the value of work being carried out by the Coalition for Research to Improve Aboriginal Health (CRIAH).

An independent review of the Institute commissioned by NSW Health gave us a positive report, resulting in the continuation of our funding.
