Sax Institute staff raised more than $1400 towards cancer research and support services when the Institute hosted a Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea this month.
The final fundraising figure of $1403.40 far outstripped the target figure of $650, thanks to an impressive display of the home-cooking talents of staff and many generous donations.
The morning tea table was loaded with treats ranging from Guinness cake to cupcakes, macaroons and savoury specialties including spinach, fetta and rosemary pastries. The Institute is proud to have participated in this great Cancer Council initiative.
