The Sax Institute has welcomed JBI, formerly the Joanna Briggs Institute, as a new Member.
There are now 79 Member organisations of the Sax Institute across Australia, a powerful network of leaders in public health and health services research.
Sax Institute CEO Dr Martin McNamara says he is pleased to welcome JBI as a Member. “All our Member organisations share a commitment to ensure evidence is better reflected in health policy. We look forward to collaborating with JBI to continue addressing Australia’s public health challenges.”
JBI is a global organisation supporting evidence-based decisions that improve health and health service delivery. Established in 1996 as the Joanna Briggs Institute, JBI is part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Adelaide. As a premier source of evidence-based information, JBI has published more than 1500 papers which have accumulated more than 23,000 citations. Professor Zoe Jordan is the Executive Director of JBI and its Member representative.
