Applications invited for 2014 HARC Scholarship Program

Applications are invited for the HARC Scholarship Program for scholarships commencing in March 2014.

The HARC Scholarship Program is designed to allow participants to develop better skills in integrating evidence from research in healthcare quality and safety policy and programs.

The aim of the scholarship is to enable successful applicants to become future leaders with:

  • Advanced skills in using research in policy making
  • Expertise in evidence-based practice and policy
  • Connections to international and national experts in health services research.

Under the guidance of a nominated local mentor, HARC Scholars will investigate an issue of interest, based on a challenge facing their agency. The Scholarship will include a visit to a nominated national or international agency with expertise in the chosen field.

Successful applicants will receive funding to a maximum of $10,000.

The HARC Scholarship is open to employees of the HARC partners: the Sax Institute, the Clinical Excellence Commission, and the Agency for Clinical Innovation.

An information session for interested applicants will be held Thursday 16 January 2013.
