
The Sax Institute has welcomed the School of Translational Medicine at Monash University as a new Member.
Its inclusion brings the total number of Member organisations to 77 across Australia, strengthening a powerful network committed to advancing public health and health services research.
Sax Institute CEO Dr Martin McNamara said he was pleased to see the School join the Institute.

Part of Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, the School of Translational Medicine, based at the University’s Alfred Campus, operates at the forefront of translational research, accelerating discoveries into clinical applications. Its expertise in large-scale clinical data management, biostatistics and epidemiology underpins research with real-world impact. As a partner in the Alfred Research Alliance, the School plays a central role in integrating education, research and patient care, and training the next generation of translational researchers through innovative programs.
