Investigators: Prof Mark Harris Primary care is an important component of healthcare. Despite universal coverage for healthcare in Australia, primary care is likely to be subject to socioeconomic inequalities. These have not been characterised in detail. This projects aims to describe the influence of socioeconomic factors on the pattern of access of primary healthcare services.  Key aspects of primary healthcare include use of preventive services, multidisciplinary care for patients with chronic illness and continuity of care.
