Investigators: Prof Emily Banks (CI), Dr Mark Clements, Dr Rosemary Korda, Dr Jeffrey Lai, Prof Robyn Lucas. Fracture is an important, under-researched and increasing health problem. Fractures occur frequently among older populations and are a significant source of morbidity and mortality worldwide. A range of demographic and lifestyle factors have been shown to be important risk factors for fracture. This study will investigate these and other general factors in relation to fracture risk including sun exposure and pharmaceutical agents (including hormonal contraceptives).
