PulsE was a quarterly e-bulletin summarising new and emerging systematic reviews of public health and health services interventions published between 2007 and 2014, which aimed to provide people working in public health with up-to-date information relevant to health policy priorities.

This issue includes reviews on topics such as falls prevention, using email for disease prevention and health promotion and socioeconomic inequalities in lung cancer treatment.

December 2012

This issue includes reviews on health checks, influenza vaccination, health literacy and outcomes for patients with diabetes, and incentives to prevent smoking in children and adolescents.

September 2012

This issue includes reviews on sedentary time, preventing tobacco use in Indigenous youth, management of diabetes during pregnancy, and psychological interventions for parents of children and adolescents with chronic illness.

This issue looks at interventions around physical activity, smoking cessation, polypharmacy in older people, and improving outcomes in patients with multimorbidity.
