In this edition, we’re pleased to invite you to a presentation by Professor Terry Huang, a global leader in creative solutions for obesity and chronic disease.
Professor Huang is a major driver of systems approaches to chronic disease prevention in the US. We encourage you to attend this free presentation on Monday 27 April to hear his take on how a systems approach can increase the effectiveness of interventions for obesity and chronic disease.
This edition also features a new research project aimed at building a comprehensive framework to reduce tobacco use among Aboriginal people, and an interview with Claire Pearce, one of our new PhD students.
We also introduce our new website, which we hope will be a space for you to stay up to date with the people and projects of the Prevention Centre.
