This review aimed to identify effective policies, programs and services for improving social and emotional wellbeing for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Although the review team did not identify any best practice examples, the documented benefits of engagement in these programs indicates that further investment in research and evaluation should be supported. The review identified key elements of two promising policy frameworks and seven programs; enablers and barriers to implementation; and gaps in the evidence that could direct future research.
