This Evidence Check examined interventions that enabled carers to gain access to services that improve their health and wellbeing. Care coordination programs were the only type of intervention that showed evidence of improving carers access to services, showing limited evidence for increased service use and uptake and moderate evidence for improved health and wellbeing for carers. There was no good quality evidence provided for improving carer access through primary care interventions.
