In our video series, INSIGHTS, we interview public health leaders to glean some pearls of wisdom about what important developments they have witnessed over the course of their careers. In this video, Professor Emily Banks explains how she became hooked on epidemiology and shares insights on the important developments in public health research over the last 20 years, in particular the use of large scale data. She is currently the Scientific Director of the 45 and Up Study at the Sax Institute. This video was originally developed for Web CIPHER – a member-based website for health decision makers and those interested in evidence informed policy.
