Seeking expressions of interest from researchers

Current expressions of interest are posted below and emailed to our Radar database which you can join below.

The Sax Institute is commissioning a rapid review of existing evidence to identify potential impacts associated with climate change related factors that are likely to affect the NSW Health workforce into the future.

This research will provide NSW Health with insights into the external factors that will affect their workforce over time, so that leaders and decision-makers are better able to plan for and prepare the clinical and non-clinical workforce for the period between the present day and 2040, and beyond.

Expressions of interest close 8pm Sunday 10th March 2024.

The review will address the following questions:

Question 1

What are the anticipated impacts of climate change related factors on the occupational health, safety and wellbeing of the NSW Health workforce?

Question 2

What are the expected changes in demand for NSW Health services due to climate change related factors?

A draft (complete) report for this Evidence Check review is required by 29 May 2024, and the final report by 1 July 2024. If you would like a copy of the project brief for this review, please contact by email: alexandra.schiavuzzi@saxinstitute.org.au. Please use ‘EOI: 24-MOH-06 Impacts of climate change on future workforce’ in the subject line.

Please feel free to circulate this opportunity to those who may be interested in this topic.
