This Evidence Check review sought to identify measures that could be used for the surveillance of physical activity among children aged 5–17 years in Australia, under the National Prevention Partnership Agreements. It found there is a diverse set of instruments and methods used for surveillance across jurisdictions. The review proposes a 3 tiered approach, with a common core short physical activity question.
