New futures: innovative uses for Australia’s largest cohort study
Registrations are now open for this year’s 45 and Up Study Annual Forum, where you can join the discussion about what’s next for the Study and what possibilities it offers to help us grapple with an ageing population and other future health challenges.
We’ll be looking at how we can use this national research treasure in innovative ways: from the untapped potential of genomics research to building new collaborations and busting silos across the research spectrum, and using the growing possibilities in linked data research to drive better integrated healthcare.
Our keynote speaker will be Professor Ian Frazer AC, world-renowned immunologist, chair of the Federal Government’s Medical Research Future Fund and former Australian of the Year.
We also look forward to a panel discussion on future directions, featuring Australian research leaders, and showcasing research projects currently using the 45 and Up Study to investigate a wide range of health challenges.
Thank you for your ongoing interest and support of the 45 and Up Study. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Forum.
