INSIGHTS | Professor Dame Valerie Beral

In our new video series, INSIGHTS, we interview public health leaders to glean some pearls of wisdom about what important developments they have witnessed over the course of their careers. In this video, Professor Dame Valerie Beral, an epidemiologist at Oxford University and the Principal Investigator of the UK’s Million Women Study, reflects on the growth in research and knowledge in public health since beginning her career in 1970. This video was originally developed for Web CIPHER – a member-based website for health decision makers and those interested in evidence informed policy.
